COMMON SENSE QUESTION:

Why on earth are car manufacturers allowed to sell cars based on (lot of) Power and Speed?  It should be ILLEGAL; safety first; No?  It is so easy to ensure that a vehicle/car CANNOT be driven faster than a certain limit.  In fact, today, it is VERY EASY for that speed limit (and acceleration) to adapt to the speed limit of the road (based on GPS), where the car is being driven.  Sure, you can allow an extra 10%  (e.g. 110 on 100km/hr limit) to allow for overtaking.  It is easy to automatically restrict driving too close to car in front.

Car Manufacturers (auto companies) are CORUPT and foolish, just like many Politicians; they do NOT care about citizens, or even their OWN family members - who drive on the same roads and face the same dangers.  Shows the level of Human Ignorance and Stupidity.  If I were a Politician, I would think of safety of my OWN family - and as a result the safety of all people; I only need to think using Common Sense; no special skills required!

Auto Manufacturers "lobby" (legal word for - Doing Favors) the politicians (give them MONEY - "donations" to the party, campaign funding, free rides on private planes, invitations to nice events, juicy contracts for family-member owned companies, etc); in return Politicians never pass laws which actually are beneficial for the people.  They forget that their family, sons, daughters, siblings are also PEOPLE.

This is the flaw in our system:  To be elected, one just needs enough VOTES; absolutely no skills required.  One person, One vote; ability to Think, Question, Rationalize, Debate is NOT required; as long as you vote for "the person".  Considering Mass Ignorance (many of whom LOVE to speed, Drive Dangerously, Drive too close to cars, Change Lanes Abruptly/no indicator, Hold steering with one hand, prefer the FREE hand to be holding a cigarette or a Hot drink, Phone, etc, 
WHO WANTS LIMITS for Young or Old?

It's not even for young drivers! A person with a motorbike, wanting a high-capacity engine must pass a complete examination and tests. Young people, after getting their licence, go from an Opel to a Ferrari as if it were nothing. The result? Thanks to certain YouTubers showing off with high-performance cars, young people do the same and... crash.

The internet is not the truth, but try putting that into the heads of young people wanting to show off! Provocateurs on the net versus those (because "females" are rather rare!) who believe what they see and crash into walls or into a family returning from holiday - it's a scandal. What's more, freedom of expression, in this case, is rather questionable! Why not also prosecute the influencers pushing this drift.
