Everyone is free to practice the religion they wish, but should not impose it on others.

We live in a Christian and secular country where the Church has been separated from the State, and this is not without reason.

Moreover, there is a law in this country called "private law", and we must stop crying racism whenever someone does not accept that this law be applied.

And I would go even further: each of us has the right not to be served by a veiled person if it makes us uncomfortable.

Just because this country accepts a whole host of nationalities, a whole host of different religions and the practices that go with them, doesn't mean we must accept everything in the name of tolerance, which is a convenient excuse and allows for putting the native population on trial.

This country has been corrupted by the Christian religion for centuries. In its name, people were mistreated, forced to conform to a misogynistic, intolerant, and above all grotesque morality. Fortunately, for some time now, its influence has been less prevalent. Born into a secular family, I still feel its nauseating influence on me. From this perspective, other religions do not seem more commendable to me. As for whether Muslims, in particular, are being overly stigmatised, it seems obvious to me. I must, like all atheists, consider that everyone can believe in whatever they want, and it would never occur to me to ask for all churches to be demolished because they are the symbol of a dark age. By analogy, I don't see why a piece of cloth should bother me. Beyond that, the sight of supermarkets, industrial zones, cars, etc. is more intolerable to me than a headscarf or a crucifix.
