When looking at the current standpoint and considering the commitment, ambition, and performance with which women have brought football into focus in recent years, I find it very shameful and discriminatory that this is still not 100% tolerated and is sometimes still smiled upon. Women play refreshing football and are in no way behind men. I hope that this continues and that the financial position also comes into focus. When comparing how much more men earn, with millions spent on transfers for their performances, which are often only flattering, it's time to review the books and finally look at this discrepancy with open eyes and find solutions to push this into the right focus. I sincerely wish women's football the best of luck, keep up the good work.

I am a sports fan and teacher.

I am outraged by the media frenzy surrounding women's football (and men's football for that matter), while many sports are insufficiently supported by the state and the media.

This incredible hype is furthermore detrimental to other women's sports like basketball, volleyball, athletics, etc., which are talked about much less.

This anomaly is due to an understandable and legitimate political impulse, central to our society: the revaluation of women's place, both in the professional world and among young people. But choosing football as a symbol of equality is, in my opinion, a damaging absurdity. This sport conveys so many negative messages and attitudes... isn't there a better communication vector?

Moreover, the level is often appalling (except for the very best teams), and people watching their first match often come away perplexed.
