I am stunned to see that 70% of voters find air travel not expensive enough. I obviously respect their point of view, but I wonder what their socio-economic profile is. Can they afford without difficulty to spend more? Or do they not travel?

I think of those who work between two cities, who have family between two countries, or who simply want to discover another continent. Only allowing those who have the means to do so and excluding others seems elitist and indecent to me.

Obviously! There should be a 100 CHF tax on every airline ticket purchase. It's not normal that you can go partying in Barcelona for a weekend for around 50 to 70 CHF return by plane, whilst the cost of travelling from Neuchâtel to Geneva by train return is much higher!

The result of these low-cost airline prices is that Barcelona residents end up hating tourists, who furthermore can no longer find housing in their own city because more and more landlords are converting their flat(s) into Airbnb accommodation for these same tourists seeking drinking, drugs and sex!

And just look on social media at the filmed behaviour of these tourists in the streets after midnight - it's a real disgrace! If I were from Barcelona, I would hate tourists too!
