The problem with education is that it's the best way to fight against crime and insecurity.

Allowing everyone to pursue education will increase the overall standard of living in society. If Switzerland is doing so well, it's thanks to education.

Moreover, everything that has been invented in Switzerland, including the Internet for example, comes from the minds of university graduates, and it allows numerous scientists to come and establish themselves in Switzerland to invent formulas like E=MC2.

Cutting funding for education is the worst thing to do in the long term. It's better to educate a civilisation than to deploy police and cameras to gain security.

Too much tax kills tax. We are reaching maximums that should not be exceeded to avoid all of us becoming poor later. There is enormous potential for savings in administrations. Just look at the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG): while the number of farmers has been divided by three in 35 years, the FOAG is hassling them more and more. Civil servants, to justify their exorbitant salaries, "churn out" new regulations every year, each more abstruse than the last. Not to mention that in each canton, new civil servants are regularly added to the cantonal departments of agriculture. At the federal level alone, we could easily do without three-quarters of these civil servants (200 million francs) and the country would be better off. There are certainly other departments where savings could also be made.
